Privacy Policy
We collect the minimum needed to run your licence: your email, your plan, and a hardware fingerprint that stops key-sharing. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us. Your trading activity stays on your machine: the bot runs locally and our servers only see licence checks, not your trades or broker credentials.
1. Scope
This policy explains what personal data Velox ("we", "us") collects when you use velox-trade.com and the Velox software, and how we handle it. Data controller contact: support@velox-trade.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name (if provided) and email address, used for your licence, receipts and service emails.
- Billing data: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive your plan, payment status and last-4 card digits only; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Licence & device data: your licence key, a hashed machine identifier (hardware binding), machine name, and licence-check timestamps ("heartbeats"). This is what prevents one key being shared between customers.
- Support correspondence: emails you send us.
Your broker credentials, your trades, your positions, your balance and your strategy settings never leave your machine. The AI decision layer runs locally with your own API key. Our servers receive licence validation calls only.
3. How we use data
To activate and validate licences, prevent fraud and key-sharing, process payments, send service emails (receipts, licence keys, renewal and security notices), provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data. Ever.
4. Processors we rely on
Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Railway (API hosting), Resend (transactional email) and Vercel (website hosting). Each processes data only on our instructions under their own security and privacy commitments.
5. Retention
Account and licence data are kept while your subscription is active and for up to 24 months after, for fraud prevention and accounting. Billing records are retained as required by tax law. You can request earlier deletion (Section 6).
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or request a portable copy: email support@velox-trade.com from your account address and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting licence data deactivates the software.
7. Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Credentials are stored hashed, admin access is restricted and audited, and machine identifiers are stored as one-way fingerprints. No method is 100% secure, but we follow the principle of storing the minimum we need.
8. International transfers
Our processors may store data in the EU or US under their standard contractual safeguards. By using Velox you consent to these transfers.
9. Cookies
The marketing site uses no tracking cookies. Strictly necessary cookies may be used on checkout and admin pages (session handling), and Stripe sets its own cookies during payment. Embedded TradingView market charts on the homepage are served by TradingView and are governed by TradingView's own privacy and cookie policies.
10. Children
Velox is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
11. Changes
We will announce material changes to this policy by email or on the site at least 14 days before they take effect.
